One-time setup — and a founder does it with you.
One flat $199 setup fee — the same on every plan, less than a single month’s subscription. It covers your full setup: we configure Valedis for your state’s filing requirements, put your funeral home’s name and logo on the family’s link, load your certifying physicians, and walk your first real case with you, end to end. There are no price lists to load and no years of data to migrate — which is why you’re running a case in days, not weeks.

Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
Yes — one flat $199, the same on every plan, and it's listed right on the card. That's less than a single month's subscription. It covers a founder-led setup: we configure Valedis for your state, brand the family-facing links with your funeral home, load your certifying physicians, and walk your first real case with you. If that first certificate doesn't file clean, we refund it — and that guarantee covers founding pilot homes too.
Does Valedis replace our EDRS?
No. You still file through your state's Electronic Death Registration System. Valedis prepares a complete, checked record so your filing goes through clean the first time.
Is there a contract or commitment?
Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. Annual plans are billed once a year and are non-refundable after 30 days. Founding pilot homes get 30 days free; after that, your founding rate of $135/month is locked in for good, with no long-term contract.
What counts as a case?
One case is one death record — from family intake to filed certificate. Cases are counted in your plan year. We'll reach out before you approach your tier limit.
Can we add more staff accounts?
Yes. All plans include up to three user accounts (director and admin staff). Additional seats can be added — ask us when you request a demo.
Is this available outside Florida?
Florida is live now. We're expanding across the Southeast — Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, and beyond — through 2026. Request a demo and we'll let you know exactly when your state is ready.
What if we have questions during setup?
Every new account gets a walkthrough on a real case. Core and Practice plans include priority support. Founding pilot homes have a direct line to the founders throughout the pilot.
